Ashbacher's Antiques Open Sunday after the Banquet!
After the banquet you are invited to visit Ashbacher's Antiques and Collectables which include lots of Waterville memorabilia! It is located 18 miles SE of Waukon on Hwy. 76, on Antique Lane, just beyond road X52 which goes to Harpers Ferry.
Waterville Day, June 25: Join us for a tour of Waterville School and the Waterville Public Library. Plans are for the school to be open from 10am to 2pm, the Fire Station will also be open from 11am-2pm. The Waterville Elementary School parent group "Parents for Progress", will be providing lunch at the fire station for a free will donation. Please be generous with your donation...they are doing wonderful things for both the school and the children. Lunch will be available between the hours of 11am and 2pm. Eagles Landing Winery will also be at the Fire Station for a wine tasting event between 11am and 2pm. Horse drawn wagons will be available to give you a ride through scenic downtown Waterville!
At 2pm the Granny Basketball Game will begin at the school gym! Admission is free, donations to a local charity will be accepted. Harpers Ferry Fireflies will take on the Lansing Great Dames! At 2:45 a scramble will begin in which both teams will mix their players together with the addition of Waterville High School alumni and former students of Waterville Elementary. Both women and men 40 yrs. of age or older are welcome to play. Rules from the 1920's women's game will apply.
